Dangerous Managerial Liaisons: Distortions, Misdirection and Fad Terminology

Too often, people distort good and useful ideas to the detriment of one and all, including leaders. Recently, I wrote an article for Directors and Boards in an attempt to vaccinate against some common, contemporary distortions. The article focuses on the role of boards, but the distortions and their recalibration may well prove useful to any organizational leader.
