Lessons for Hard Times: Personal and Professional

Greetings.

We never know what we’re training for. For me, it was cancer. In this podcast, we discuss my year of cancer treatment (2017) and its relevance to leadership topics such as change, surviving hard times, resilience, and mentoring before moving on to less personal material and the topics of leadership, working remotely, leading change (including the just revised and reissued Leading Successful Change: 8 Keys to Making Change Work), and leading into what’s coming next. We took our time and covered a lot of ground. I enjoyed the conversation with David Naylor and Sean Johnson of 2Logical.

How to Avoid Team Distraction and “Get to the Work”, Build an Environment to Facilitate Change, Fight Cancer and Find Spirituality

Hopefully, you will find it of use. (The more personal stuff ends about 43 minutes in if you’d like to skip to the more purely leadership and change material.) Let me know what you think.
